Unruly Sun

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

A
frosty
November
morning. The sun
opens a sleepy
eye to peep from under
fleecy rose-flecked blankets at
the waking day - then promptly pulls
the covers back up over his head.
(Oh how I wish that luxury were mine!)

    1. Yes, I did, and it was wonderful. Cold weather makes me really appreciate those warm blankets. :)

  9. I've been so absent from the blogging world I'd forgotten about this poetry form. As usual, you do it beautifully - your words are a perfect match for the picture and evoke a whole world of emotion.
