Pretty and Sparkly

My friend Judy asked me to make a necklace and bracelet for her doctor's small daughter. (This is the same doctor that Judy gives jewelry to every year.)

"Make something pretty and sparkly," she said, leaving the choice of beads up to me.

The necklace is strung on a single wire with glimmering rainbow moonstone from Judy's stash, and glass seed beads and teardrop accents from mine.

I love making organic closures like this, strung in one with the necklace:

Seed beads and teardrops cover the memory wire bracelet, which has little moonstone dangles at the ends. (The moonstone was drilled too small to fit on the memory wire itself.)

I think they are pretty - and just sparkly enough. I hope Dr. M's little daughter will think so too. :)
