I think they'll hang around a little while longer. ;-)
We haven't seen hardly any swallows, swifts or house martins this year, they used to be prolific flying up and down the street but not any more, so sad.Brionyx
Not yet, not yet. It's always too soon. CJ xx
Please linger...I've enjoyed your stay!
How beautiful, thank you Sue - I haven't seen any of those little sweeties in many a year but it wasn't they who left, but us!!! Happy weekend to you, Joy xo
Yes, how did it get to be mid-August so soon? Wasn't it just yesterday we were awaiting the onslaught of spring?!?
And ... we are so pleased that the swallows are gradually returning to our land in the south - Cape Town, South Africa!
Im waiting for the migrating hummingbirds to come by our feeder
I just might have to hot glue their little feet to that wire to keep them around...I am not ready for winter...nope, not even ready for fall! ...oh and for all the peta people out there....no real birds were hurt in the making of this comment! ((hugs))
I love comments! Speak on....
