ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you. It looks like an awesome book. I have worked knitted cables but not crochet. I am so proud of you sweet friend. ReplyDeleteA few years I was making the wrist ribbing for some fingerless mittens and the pattern called for cable crochet in the ribbing. I made rather a mess of the cable stitch and had to frog the work twice to go back over it. I was so annoyed with my inability to cope with the stitch in question I just threw it to one side and have just avoided any pattern where cable crochet is involved since then.. It really annoys me when I find a particular stitch difficult like this!! I think your book may quite possibly help me redeem my self-esteem as regards to cable crochet. I would love to participate in your generous giveaway. keep well Amanda x
