So proud of you! I have the most talented aunt.
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you - even if you are a little bit prejudiced. :)
DeleteGet out!!! This is so totally cool. I feel famous knowing this famous crocheter. I'm going to start name dropping to all my homies! Congrats Sue!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Astri! :)
DeleteMore beautiful than it was on the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you, I can hardly breathe!!! The Lizard just popped in to see it, too, because he wanted to see the "real" thing, not just the phone one!
Ooooooh, oooooooh, oooooooh, awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could hardly breathe either when I saw it.... :)
DeleteCongrats! But is that you Sue Perez?:) So awesome to see published in a magazine! Great!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anna! Yes, that is my name. :)
DeleteWell done for your lovely knitted creation featured in a crochet magazine. If ever you write a crochet book and explain things as well as you do on your blog, I will be a buyer!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Thank you, Sandra! (Actually it's a crocheted cowl, but it does look sort of knitty.) :)
DeleteGoodness, a famous blogger! Congratulations m'dear.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, T-a. :)
DeleteWow, how exciting, and on the cover too. Well done. It looks a lovely cowl, most stylish. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne - the yarn they sent me was incredible to work with. :)
DeleteYeeHaw!
ReplyDeleteYes indeedy! Thanks so much. :)
DeleteCongratulations, that is so awesome!! And you made the cover too, even better. I agree with another commenter, you really should have a crochet book published :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandy! Now if some publisher would only come knocking.... :)
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS! What a lovely cowl!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Kindra! :)
Delete"!!!!!" indeed!! More like, "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then some!!! :)

Aw shucks - thank you, Laura. :)
DeleteAwesome!!!!! Terrific news, sending you a very big congrats hug. By the way Happy B-day to your sister, I know it is late but late is the best I can do.
ReplyDeleteHooray for you.
Meredith
Thank you, Meredith. She had a pretty good birthday, with some very nice yarny gifts. :)
DeleteThat is beautiful!!! And the cover. WooHoo!!!
ReplyDeleteYou should do a book. You are so creative and explain things so well.
Thanks, Beth! I have no idea what I would write about though.... :)
DeleteCongratulations!!! :)))
ReplyDeleteThank you, and thanks also for commenting! :)
DeleteWow, check it out!!! Cover material....that's awesome Sue.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS, I'm sooooo excited for you.
The cowl is just gorgeous too....
I bet your heart skipped a few beats when you saw the magazine, well done.....
Cliare :}
That's exactly what it did - in fact I think it stopped for a second or two. (Or maybe it was just up in my throat.) But yes, very exciting! :)
DeleteThanks Claire.
Woo Hoo!!!! It was only a matter of time, Mrs Most Talented Crocheter I know. Seriously chuffed for you my friend :D
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you for that very nice compliment, Annie. :)
DeleteWow, that is so amazing Sue, so well deserved and on the front cover, well blow me down. You truly are one marvellous Mrs. M. Big congratulations xox Penelope
ReplyDeleteThanks, Penelope! It IS amazing - the magazine is chockful of top-notch patterns. Why they chose this one is beyond me.
Delete(But I'm glad they did!) :)
Thanks so much, Lolly! I'm excited too.
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeleteJaw dropping - OH MY!! What a gift you have for the yarny things!! Was birthday girl lucky enough to receive this as her yarny gift? Stunning is an understatement; so-o-o beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have given the scarf away - but it belongs to Interweave and I'll never see it again except in print. It was a very lovely silk-wool blend yarn - a delight to work with (and way beyond my pocketbook). Birthday girl got something else designed by me....
DeleteOh wow, I'm impressed! I knew you were good, just didn't know how good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scarf. A designer no less, where do you find the time!
Thanks so much, Janet. As for finding time, the whole reason I started this blogging/crochet design lark was that my job hours were severely cut. So that leaves me with energy for stuff like this. :)
DeleteWoo Hoo! Woo Hoo! Woo HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I'm sorry to chime in late here (Thank you Blogger!) Oh, my! You SO deserve this. I agree. You should write a book. I could help you with the Peanut parts! :) Seriously, you rock, you ROCK, YOU ROCK!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, Marigold. I could hear your goaty whooops all the way from Washington to Wisconsin. :)
DeleteIf I ever do write a book, you will be the Peanut Consultant.
