Tasty poem...eh...food :) Well, I made pancakes yesterday for the first time and from Indian products, they tasted as they have to! So now I'm up to making more :)
Flannel sheets: lovely! I remember having those as a child... there was no central heating in our home in England in those days! Sounds like you have nice little details in your life to notice! Just noticing things makes us happy, doesn't it? Have a great end to your week, Sue!
Crocheting a cowl, hugging little grand girls, seeing Mt. Hood and alpacas, hearing the frogs in our ponds and visiting you here are all among the Lovelies that today gave me cheer :-) xx, Gracie
Outside looking at the stars with No. 1 and talking about trips to Canada and New York.......another world away. Happy to be in my little neck of the woods.
Actually these are Corelle plates - "Summer Blush". (Had to go to the Corelle site to look them up - you wouldn't believe how many discontinued patterns they have!)
I think you do have a plate like this though ... I remember seeing it in a photo on your blog - with a pink sponge resting on it. If memory serves, you were writing about microwaving your sponges to keep them clean.
Sunrise, no pain, sunshine, tulips poking through the mulch, warm temperatures, chocolate, my soul mate, music, sewing, crocheting, the indoor garden...
Coming to school and having completely forgotten about parents visiting ... hihih. I've never been more relaxed on a parents' day. :-) Sunshine (although it's freezing and there is snow) Happy lunchtime with my husband. Being home alone for a couple of hours.
I cleaned out my bedroom and gave a lot of clothes and shoes to charity. than made ecstatic
ReplyDeleteThat's a very good feeling indeed. Lightening the load AND helping those in need! :)
DeleteReading this post and knowing how nice it was for you to have that sunshine on your plate! And it makes me hungry!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kay. :)
DeleteIt's amazing how a little sunshine can lift the mood. (John Denver expressed this very well....)

Amen to that. New York can't hold a candle to your mountains and zinnias and chookies and Tigger and op shops! :)

ReplyDeleteThat would be wonderful ... lots of quilts! :)
