I wished really, really hard on shooting star for you, and then last night I blew really, really hard, hoping some of the warm air would find its way up to you!
So happy it warmed up for you. It was sunny and about 67 here today. Of course I had to work. We turned off the heat opened the doors. It felt so good. I will enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
Oh heavenly Mrs. M, all that warmth and vitamin D ! We woke up to sunshine but the clouds have arrived :o( Enjoy! ps. I have answered your Q on my latest post x
It was great wasn't it? Over here it is sunny, but with a cold wind.... After de last few warm days this means we're all down with a cold from the weatherchange... Come on Spring!
64 degrees?? Oh yeah!! :) That's just about the perfect temp for just about anything! Here is a totally unrelated question to this post but did you have a recipe somewhere for a non toxic, bleach for clothes...like using hydrogen perioxide in the wash cycle??
No - in fact I don't use bleach at all in the laundry. If things get dingy, they get dingy.... But I have often wondered about hydrogen peroxide. Wouldn't it weaken the fibers? Now I shall have to Google it. :)
P.S. I did do a couple of posts on homemade laundry detergent:

DeleteHi Sue! Isn't a warmup great! It's warmer here ~ warm enough to melt the last bits of the snowstorm we had earlier this week. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm hoping our last bits of snow will be gone by this weekend - there were still a few stretches of it on my Sunday bike ride. Thanks Fundy! :)

My sentiments exactly! :)
DeleteBloomin 'eck! Enjoy :-D.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am. :)

ReplyDeleteWith all your bike-riding, you might not have a place that can be pinched!
If only that were the case.... :)
DeleteHooray, I am so happy Spring is on the way,
ReplyDeleteMeredith
Me too! Especially considering that it started a MONTH ago. :)

ReplyDeleteYes - and just think, in a few more months we'll be groaning about the heat! Hard to believe right now. :)

The sun will return, I am sure of it ... and thanks for the answer. :)
DeleteLovely. We are back to cold. :-( I'm glad a can make a fire in the stove. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's not so bad if you can enjoy a fire - that seems cosier than just turning on the central heater. :)
