Though the Callida Hat looks very different from the Callida Jar Cosy, it follows the same basic construction and uses the same family of stitches. And every round (except the last) has been joined with the Mock Invisible Join.
Can you spot the seam in the photo above or below? It's pretty subtle:

Finished Size: approximately 22" diameter, 7 1/2" from center to crown edge
Yarn Requirements: Moderate amounts of light worsted or DK weight yarn.
Yarns I Used: NaturallyCaron Spa (discontinued) in Misty Taupe and Green, Lorna's Laces Honor in Poppy.
Hook: US G/4.25mm
Really Short Pattern (see below for longer version)
Join all rounds with Mock Invisible Join. Carry unused colour behind work at all times.
Crown and sides: Starting with 12 stitches in an adjustable ring, work increase rounds of alternating dc (Taupe) and hdc (Poppy) to desired circumference (if increasing 12 stitches per round, work the 3rd hdc round even to prevent rippling). When crown is large enough, work even rounds of dc (Taupe) and hdc (Poppy) to desired length, ending with dc (Taupe) round. Cut Taupe yarn.
Border: *With Poppy, work 1 hdc round, then 1 round hdc in the back bar. With Green, work 1 Granny Cluster round in the back bar. Repeat from * once. With Poppy, work 1 hdc round, then 1 round sc in the back bar. Cut yarn and join with invisible join. Weave in very few ends! :)

Block your hat, then spin it around a few times and see if you can spot the seam. Try it on and take a photo of yourself. :)
