As Seen in Crochetvolution....

Have you visited Crochetvolution.com? It's a beautiful online crochet magazine, published quarterly (and free, which makes it even better!). Each issue offers patterns, interviews, helpful or thought-provoking articles, and designer spotlights.

Here are just a few samples from the Winter 2012 issue:

Frost Line Mittens Beaded Bookmark
by Mrs. Micawber (ahem)

My Frost Line Mittens are quick to make, and will hone your Slip Stitch Crochet skills. Beaded on both sides, they make a wonderful bookmark, ornament, or gift topper. The sample pair was made with Patons Grace; Planet Penny Cotton Club would also be perfect for this pattern.

More favourites from the Winter 2012 issue: an Indie Spotlight on the incredible Aoibhe Ni, and the fascinating article "5 Ways Creativity Heals Us", by Crochet Concupiscence's Kathryn Vercillo.

Hop on over to Crochetvolution and check out the Winter 2012 issue for yourself!

  9. Nice mitts! I followed the link (there's a missing "t" in the link address by the way) and had a little look at the site. Some of the shawls are very pretty, though I need to finish the one I'm on first before starting any more...
