Those are great. But you know, I think sometimes the blogging friends become better friends because they have more in common. The close-by family and friends sometimes seem relieved that they don't have to listen to me go on and on and on about my hobbies and crafts anymore! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. I've only been doing this for a month and a half and I already feel like I've made more friends than in years of local social contact. (Mostly I was just thinking about my husband suffering from neglect, due to my new love for blogging, when I wrote these.) It's been great to connect up with people in the blogosphere. It's like "Wow! I'm not alone! Somebody out there gets it!" :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love you poetic talent.
ReplyDeleteI just LOLed.
as for blogging friends...
ReplyDeleteWhen I started blogging I knew it would be a lonely place for much of the beginning months.
and it was. For about 3 months blogging felt like I was a hermit on some English moor with nothing but the wind blowing.
But addicted I became anyway, because it sure beats watching T.V.
Now I've met so many like-minded gals. It's wonderful. And yeah, the so understand.
XXOO to Sue.
Thanks so much, both of you. I started blogging as a kind of creative outlet, to keep me from just sitting around reading all the time, and it's turned out to be so much more than that. I'm very grateful.
ReplyDeleteLOL You are funny girl! So true. I love my bloggin' buds, my regular friends & family rarely visit my "happy place". hahaha ♥ the Haiku.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
